Naturally, the first thing anyone will notice about Roxy is that she's a little bit of a drunk. And by a little bit of a drunk, I mean being sober is like being drunk for her: it happens infrequently, and it doesn't feel so good when it does. Roxy drinks to fill in the emptiness and to give her something to do when hacking and video games and talking to her friends has left her either bored or frustrated.
Roxy is an incredibly intelligent young woman, though this isn't readily apparent when one speaks with her (see above about that whole drunk thing). She is a terribly capable hacker, for starters, even able to get in to the Crocker Corps website to obtain an illegal copy of SBRUB (though she suspects that it was all a setup by ye olde Batterwitch, but still, she took great pride in this accomplishment). Her downfall with her intelligence is that she never thinks things through to the end. She's incredibly reactionary, living in the moment rather than thinking about the future consequences of her actions. Her staged attempt on Jane's life to try to convince her about the evils of Crocker Corps came back to bite her on the ass fairly quickly. In this way, she's the exact opposite of Dirk, who plans every moment down to pretty much the exact second it needs to be executed. Roxy is a fly by the seat of her pants kind of gal.
She's also a meddler. She's a great big huge meddlesome meddler of the highest meddling degree. If there is juicy gossip to be sniffed out, Roxy is your girl to get it. But it's not just a matter of her digging for the information, oh no. She's intuitive. Roxy is able to realize things about people before they even know what's up. But she doesn't use this information for any nefarious schemes (though she's perfectly capable of it; it's just, the only scandalous information we've seen her gather so far is about her friends, and she's not about to use that sort of info for blackmail). More often than not, Roxy uses this info to try to help people. She uses her knowledge about Dirk's plans with Jake to try to motivate Jane into getting there first.
Roxy always has her friends' interests at heart. In fact, the majority of the time they take precedence over her own. She even states at one point that, sure, she kind of sort of maybe had feelings for Jake once, too, but as soon as she found out that Jane had her eye on that prime piece of roast beef, she backed off. Jane's happiness trumped Roxy's own. Everyone else is free to be in love with the guy all they want, but not Roxy. She would never betray a friendship in that way.
Because of this, Roxy is terribly, horribly lonely. In her life, all she has known are the carapaces, and they're not exactly top of the line relationship material. Her desperation even reaches a point where she starts flirting with Dirk's Auto Responder. Yes, she flirts with a sentient program that has no actual physical form aside from being Dirk's sunglasses. She's flirting with sunglasses. She can't have Jake. She can't have Dirk. Hell, she can't even have Jane. She may as well go for the only other intelligent being that she's ever spoken with! Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that.
But even if the carapaces aren't the sort of contact Roxy craves, she's still incredibly protective and nurturing of them. She feels like it's her responsibility to take care of them, which is why she's been stealing pumpkins all this time: she has to feed them all somehow! She even risks her life, darting around when the Red Miles start attacking, to try to gather as many of them as she can to lead them to safety.
She's also totally an old school Gamer Gurl. Her boner is especially large for Nintendo.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
[ STRENGTHS ] Roxy is actually very smart. She's an A+ hacker and can even do some pretty destructive coding (see: coding Jane's copy of SBURB to blow up when installed). She's also incredibly perceptive, able to pick up on subtle nuances in a person, especially if said nuances can lead to juicy gossip.
[ WEAKNESSES ] Alcohol, for sure. She is weak to the sauce. But as strong as they make her, her friends can also be an easily exploitable weakness. She'd do pretty much anything for them to keep them safe. Roxy also has a terrible habit of not thinking ahead and lives in the moment instead.

Roxy uses two different sets of weapons to fight with: her fists and rifles. Her eyes are also actually the same shade of pink as the text color she likes to use.
